Today’s release is a continuation of yesterday’s prelude, Get Ready for the Rain: Expectancy, Rain, Super Moon, and the Feast of Tabernacles. Both were written last Tuesday October 7th during a church prayer meeting, as I pondered the significance of a heavy rain as it was falling, as well as the Feast of Tabernacles, which had just begun the night before.
I pray that you find it encouraging!
I AM RAINING DOWN UPON YOUR WILDERNESS
AND ATHEISM… IS DEAD
Word from Tuesday October 7, 2025 – noon
Throughout Scripture, rain represents both God’s blessing and God’s judgment. The rain falls on the just and the unjust, according to Matthew 5:45, and certainly, there is no more prominent example of judgmental deluge than Genesis 7’s account of The Flood.
Today, during our prayer meeting, as I prayed and listened to the rain pouring down onto my church building, and as I pondered the fact that the calendar now places us inside of the Feast of Tabernacles, with observant Jews all throughout the earth sheltering in their prepared sukkahs (huts) to remind them of their long journey through the wilderness, this is what the Lord said:
“I am raining down upon your wilderness:
the wilderness of oppression
the wilderness of spiritual hunger and desire
the wilderness of sin and shame
the wilderness of upside-down morals and godlessness…
and the parched and thirsty souls of My weary servants, who have cried for so long
I am breaking through the fallow ground. I am priming and softening the hardened clay soil to prepare it for a coming DEEP SATURATION of MY TRUTH and MY GLORY.
The cleansing rain is coming to wash away the muck and encrusted mud of foolish understanding, false ideologies, and unbelief to reveal the truth of spiritual reality to the souls of men.
I am raining upon the temporary shelters and makeshift plans you’ve built for yourselves, as you’ve plodded through this wilderness.
And, for some of you, I am raining on your parade. My judgment waters are coming to bring exposures and cleansing:
in governments and churches
in workplaces and schools
in corporations and non-profits
in prisons and playgrounds
in boardrooms and bedrooms
in computers and libraries
in financial institutions and underground tunnels…
and in every dark corner
There is NOTHING that will be hidden from My cleansing rain."

"I am awakening the nations to My presence in every sphere of society. Only the foolish, truly dishonest, and hard-hearted will continue to say that there is no God, as they run from the truth that is right in front of their eyes and is calling out to them from the very fabric of their being. All of Creation speaks to the fact of My existence, and My image is stamped upon their hearts.
Now, for a time, the dark veil of secularism is being lifted for men to see this. The fields are white unto harvest. So, don’t let the harvest be spoiled by laziness... or pilfered by another reaper.”

This has been ringing out in my spirit for some weeks now. Do you remember the movie, God’s Not Dead? Well, praise God, of course He’s not!!
Atheism, and perhaps even more so, secularism, suddenly no longer have the same stranglehold on western thought that they’ve had for the past century, and certainly for the last 50 years. The reason it has been such a sudden shift is because a demonic force has been CUT OFF by the Father, as He’s unleashed a new thing in the nations.
With this new outpouring upon the earth, there will be very few left who can honestly say that deep down in their hearts they believe there is no such thing as spiritual reality. There is a veil that is being lifted, and NOW is a great time to be telling people that Jesus is the answer!
Everywhere you turn, people are becoming aware of spiritual life. Watch any conservative news podcast from the past four weeks and you’ll hear them now openly talking. Megyn Kelly, Dave Rubin, Tucker Carlson, Shawn Ryan, Douglas Murray, and even mainstream news anchors are now stating plainly that our problems must stem from spiritual roots, as nothing else can explain it. Some of them are not even Christians, and yet there’s clearly a solid understanding that atheism is no longer in vogue!

Could any of us have even imagined such a thing coming across our airwaves just 10, 20, or even 50 years ago?!?
God is most surely NOT dead, and everybody in the outside world seems to all of a sudden know it! The atheistic stronghold that has had such a grip on western culture for so long has been ripped wide open and exposed for the lie that it is. The veil of secularism and the so-called (or badly misconstrued) notion of the Separation of Church and State has been lifted. It's only a shame that so much of The Church is oblivious to this.
Wake up, God’s people!
The fields are white unto harvest!
People are open, they are hungry, they are seeking, and they are searching in a way that we’ve not seen before, and we must lead them to the Truth of Jesus Christ and the foot of the Cross before they stumble onto false paths!
The clarion call is to share the Good News of Jesus wherever we go – in the grocery store, in the office, at the gas station, in your family, and in your neighborhood. Pray for the opportunities. Look for the divine appointments. Trust the Holy Spirit to give you the words to speak, and be bold and unafraid in shining the light.
CLOSING THOUGHTS:
As I wrote that very last line into my notebook—while still at my church’s prayer meeting—the music in our sanctuary very abruptly shifted from the middle of a 3-hour playlist of gentle background chords to the very loud intro of another song. I jumped up to run to the soundboard but then began to laugh, realizing that the song now playing (at a much higher volume) was Mighty to Save. The Holy Spirit was completely in control of our sound system and it’s seemingly rude timing. He wanted to cap off His message to us with these glorious facts:
Truly, OUR SAVIOR… HE CAN MOVE THE MOUNTAINS!
Truly, OUR GOD IS MIGHTY TO SAVE!
Truly, He is FOREVER, AUTHOR OF SALVATION!
and
Truly, OUR LORD HAS CONQUERED THE GRAVE!
