THE WALLS ARE COMING DOWN

Good evening!
Well, my husband and I have been under a barrage of attacks lately... mostly in our physical bodies... but also in lots of other random things. Along with this, I went from hearing from the Lord—so much and so fast that I couldn't get much of it written down—to absolute silence... and confusion (and, we know where the confusion comes from!).
But one day last week the Lord said to me (in referring to His silence):
"Well, now you know what My voice doesn't sound like! It's been silent. So, you can be confident in what I said before, because you know for sure that you aren't able to make this stuff up! It was Me."
Definitely. I got nothin’ on my own. I rejoice that He will use even the difficult and quiet times to teach me! And, we continue to stand against the enemy while we PRAISE our amazing, glorious, and victorious God!
So with that, I have a hodge-podge of things old and new that I’ll be releasing as He leads.

THE WALLS ARE COMING DOWN

Since about November of 2020, I have frequently found myself humming the children’s song Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. The Lord often speaks to me through a song, and with this one He’s put great emphasis on those last words in the chorus (imagine a group of children stomping their feet as they shout-sing with great gusto!):
“And the WALLS! CAME! TUMB – LING! DOWN!!!”
Well, today He reminded me of this again and spoke:
“The walls are coming down.
THIS is also a literal statement.
WATCH for what’s in those walls!”
Things have been hidden in walls that “they” never thought would be revealed, but the Lord is cleaning house! So, we continue to watch and wait expectantly. How long, O Lord? We long to see those walls fall and Your Name magnified!
Interestingly enough, it never even occurred to me until I typed out that last sentence that the worship song I led this past Sunday morning starts out as, “Walking around these walls, I thought by now they’d fall… but You have never failed me yet. Waiting for change to come, knowing the battle’s won… for You have never failed me yet.”
Praise His Name!!! He never fails, and His Word is sure!
