THEY HAVE CHOSEN FRAUD

Wednesday January 6, 2021 – Morning

Our church was in a 21-day period of fasting, and while my husband and I only did a partial fast for the duration, I had set aside January 5th and 6th specifically to fast and pray for our nation.

I had just awakened and was coming downstairs.  I looked at my phone in my still-sleepy state and started to see news of a Democratic win in the previous day's runoff elections in Georgia.  The Holy Spirit interrupted me most emphatically (and I mean He REALLY got my attention!):

"Don't even finish reading the headline!!  They have once again chosen fraud."

Implicit in this word was the understanding that He had graciously offered them yet another opportunity to do the right thing, but they had willfully chosen rebellion.  The "they," in this case, referred to election officials and those in authority, and not to the citizens of Georgia.
