A MESSAGE TO THE PROPHETS

Word from June 11, 2025 | Released July 24, 2025

The recent flooding in the Texas Hill Country has made for a sad and gut-wrenching several weeks in in our state.  Tragic loss of life and destruction has weighed heavily on hearts, as teams continue to search and families still await word on their missing loved ones.

Children… who had just given their lives to Jesus at summer camp.

Grandparents… celebrating our nation’s independence in their favorite vacation getaway.

Residents… who’d poured so much into building their families, homes, and livelihoods in the area.

All swept away in one terror-filled, rude awakening to the deluge of muddy and debris-filled water ripping them from the safety of their beds in the pitch black of night.  Heart-wrenching.

We plead for Your help, O God.  We plead for Your comfort for the families whose lives have been torn apart.  We plead for mercy and healing!  We plead for workers and wisdom in the rebuilding.  We plead for Your presence among us.  We plead for Your Name to be made great here, despite the tragedy.  And, we declare, that no matter what it looks like, You truly are good, holy, righteous, and true.

Today’s word will be a continuation of our most recent release from Independence Day, I Will Not Be Silent, in which the Father had told me that I have a “target on my back.”  This is a line that He would continue to reiterate to me in the following days, before giving the following message.  But this message is for many whom He has called to speak out and, more specifically, those with any type of prophetic or prophetic intercessory calling.  Sorry to say, you also have targets on your backs, whether spiritually or physically.

Some of you may feel like you’re ready to crumble under the weight and exhaustion of slogging through endless roadblocks.  Others may have tried to squelch down the significance of what God has been placing in your heart by staying busy with other things.  But this is not a time to shrink back into our own little safe places.  God is on the move, and we, as His servants, so desperately need to remain in full lockstep with Him, while exposing and shouting down the powers of darkness.

This is a season for victory, and we can’t fully partake in that victory if we are ignoring the fight.  Ask Him what He’d like you to do—step by step—and then begin taking those steps.

Jesus wins!  He always does.  So, let’s boldly align ourselves with the winning side, march forward, and watch real victory unfold.  Glory to His Name!

EXPOSE WHAT I TELL YOU TO EXPOSE

A MESSAGE TO THE PROPHETS

Word from Wednesday June 11, 2025

In my most recent release, I described how the Lord had reminded me of what He’s called me to do… and the reality of what the cost of obedience sometimes entails.  For several days after that specific conversation, He kept bringing up the general idea again:

“Think about what I’ve told you to do…You have a target on your back.”

Today, He finished out that thought with the following word.  And, while it does pertain to me, personally, I knew it is also a call to all of those in His Church who are being directed to prophesy and intercede in this hour.  This is a time to listen to His voice and fearlessly proclaim what He’s saying, whether it’s in the place of prayer, your inner circle, your church, or out in the public marketplace.  Yes, there may be a cost, but the joy of serving the Lord and seeing captives set free is so absolutely worth it!  God is giving you a voice, and He wants you to yoke with Him to break off the yoke of darkness!  Here is what He said:

“I’ve called you to speak into kings and kingdoms, to call out wickedness in high places, to speak of presidents, world leaders, prophets of Baal, Babylonian systems and their so-called royalty and elites… as well as to speak the hard things to My Bride.

You have a target on your back.

Why would you not?

Yes, you are being watched.

A prophet’s life is a hard one.  But a prophet’s reward is a rich one.  So, make hay while the sun shines, and write what I tell you to write.  Speak what I tell you to speak.  Expose what I tell you to expose.

Don’t worry so much about your credibility and research.  That is a job for others to decide and do as you pique their curiosity.  When I want YOU to do the digging, I will tell you.  But it is enough for you to know My voice and be confident in what I say as you speak it out.

Believe Me, some who are monitoring you are shaking in their boots at what you’ve said.  You are making them very, very nervous, as they wonder, ‘How can they know this?’  I will use the foolish things to confound the wise.  That is the beauty of My Kingdom.  My rule and reign trumps them all!

Walk with Me.

Abide in Me.

Yoke with Me.

My yoke BREAKS the yoke of darkness!”

We know that speaking out, asking the “wrong” questions, and digging deeper has the potential to ruffle a few feathers and land us in some hot water – even within our own Christian circles.  Some of us may feel that we don’t really even have much of a voice.  But let me tell you about something else—something quite amazing—that’s also going on all around us, just in case you hadn’t noticed:

People are HUNGRY for truth and authenticity.

Perhaps now, more than ever, eyes and ears are awakening to the fact that something is not right.  Where blind compliance and selfish belief systems may have previously ruled the day, answers are now being demanded.  People are weary of being pandered and lied to.  They’re tired of the tempting and easily-grabbed buffet options full of promising ideologies, all dressed up with sugary frosting and eye-catching sprinkles, only to find said fare to be actually devoid of any real substance or nutrition.  Those things may taste great for a while, but they eventually lead to severe deficiency and dissatisfaction.  One cannot be sustained on a diet of nonsensical fluff and self-indulgence.

From deep within, hearts are beginning to comprehend that the lack of absolute truth in our society has ultimately made for a very unstable foundation.  Media narratives we’d never questioned before no longer ring true.  Science, intellect, and the self-sufficiency of man simply do not hold all of the answers.  Souls are longing, and even aching, for REAL truth and substance, even when they sense that what they may find might be a very hard pill to swallow.  The worst truth is better than the prettiest lie.

We, as believers, stand with the answer that this is an age-old spiritual battle, with only One Victor, and only One Answer.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. -Romans 1:16, NKJV

The message of the Cross is one we must boldly proclaim to those around us for as long as we have breath.  But when the Father also shines His light on other issues in our culture, or simply fills our hearts with the curiosity to search and dig for what we’re NOT being told, we have an obligation to respond.  And…

We become responsible for what He reveals to us.

So, it then becomes a question of finding out just what He’d like us to do with what we find.

There are many giftings in the Body of Christ, and we each have a part to play.  So, even if you don’t operate in the prophetic at all and thought that today’s message doesn’t pertain to you per se, there is certainly something the Father will have you do, or someone He will have you reach, as truth unfolds.  It may be fighting in the quiet place of prayer or having a challenging conversation with a loved one or coworker.  Maybe providing children with a safe haven from the outside wickedness is your calling.  Or, it could be as bold as uprooting your life and family to launch a new business or ministry to fight back at some of these evil systems.  Whatever it is, and in every situation, we say, “Yes, Lord!”

There’s no safer place to be than in the center of His will.

“Whatever You want, whatever You ask

Our lives are Yours, we gladly lay them in Your hands

Set revival free in our surrendering

Come start a fire and let it burn

We're crying out till heaven fills the earth”

11The king of Aram became very upset over this. He called his officers together and demanded, “Which of you is the traitor? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans?”

12“It’s not us, my lord the king,” one of the officers replied. “Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom!”

-II Kings 6:11-12, NLT

26Brothers and sisters, consider your calling: Not many were wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth. 27Instead, God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. 28God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, 29so that no one may boast in His presence. 30It is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption —  31in order that, as it is written: Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.

-I Corinthians 1:26-31, CSB

11Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. 12For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 13But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, 14for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

15Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

-Ephesians 5:11-16, ESV
