THINGS DID NOT END WELL FOR ADONIJAH

Tuesday January 19, 2021 - Afternoon



With an impending inauguration tomorrow, the Lord impressed upon me to look up the passage regarding King David's son Adonijah, who had presumed to name himself king as his father was near death (I Kings 1-2).


But you may recall that the Lord had already chosen Solomon as the one who would succeed his father (I Chronicles 28:5).  After reading through the story, the Lord spoke to me, with almost a lilt in His voice:



"Things did not end well for Adonijah!"



...Just as they will not end well for those who have set themselves up to usurp authority in our own government.
